It was 17 years ago that we met at the Humane Society in Bethany,Connecticut, Penny. I remember you let me hold you belly-up and that was when I knew we would be great friends. You were so patient- letting me paint your nails, dress you up, havng roommates dye you blue. We traveled the country and grew up together. I’ve know you longer than any human friend. It was so devastating to have to say goodbye to you. You know I’ll never forget you, I love you Penny!- until we meet again….
