Our darling Rafferty we had to say goodbye. It was such a difficult decision but we didn't want you to suffer. That horrible tumour in your throat was becoming too much for you to bare. It was the one last thing we could do for you Raffs. Our house isnt the same without you now, we see you everywhere and would give anything to still have you here. I scooped you from a cage. We fed you, loved you, kept you close — always nearby, always with your paw finding its way into some kind of trouble. You crossed the Tuscan roofs as if they belonged to you, yet you never truly disappeared. Somehow, no matter where you wandered, you always came back home. Always asking for snacks. Always watching us. And for reasons only you understood, you accepted food from no one else.

I loved you from the first time I saw you. You were our beautiful little girl and we love you so much, I can't imagine my life without you, my heart is breaking. Run free over rainbow bridge my sweet baby until we meet again. You will be missed every day. I love you.

You were there in my life from the age of 7 to 24 which makes losing you hard. But I know you are no longer in pain. I will forever love you and I will miss your bark. It’s going to be quiet without you.

I miss you making biscuits on my laps, helping me wake up the kids, and just being around... Without you the house feels so empty... 😭

Thank you for making our first house a home. I'll never forget you looking like a fluffy jacket potato. You had such a big personality and captured everyone's attention when we were out for walkies. I had some darker times where you were the only one there and I now know I'll never feel alone again because you'll always be there .
