My darling GSD. Perhaps it’s silly to mourn a pet for this long. But you were by my side during my most difficult teenage years. I still bear so much guilt over leaving you behind with mum & dad. I thought I had little choice, but perhaps I should’ve tried harder. I miss your beautiful face and the way you’d do pretty much anything for me – including climbing up onto my bunk bed to be with me! The way you died still haunts me dreadfully. I hope we’ll be together again one day. Miss you x
