My sweet Dudley told me with his big sad eyes that he was ready to lay down and rest so he would be ready to play when he was reunited with his father in heaven. We took our last ride together so he could get the medicine to make all the pain go away. I have a huge hole in my soul where my puppy once lived, but I know we will all be together again, never tired, never hurting, never apart, always together.
