What do I say, apart from you being the most wonderful friend, Grandpaw to our boys a truely amazing dog. We are devastated at your quick departure, just hope you didn't suffer long. I have lost my best friend of 12 years this week and I am now very lonely. I never thought of Lucky being old until he stopped eating, I thought I simply had to get his teeth looked at but this quickly led to a discovery of kidney failure and euthanasia. Its been a real shock but I am getting better. I love you Lucky and I am so happy we rescued you when you were a 3 year old stray in my friends house. I'm glad she couldn't keep you, I will keep you in my heart forever. See you soon. xxxxx

You were a joy to own and such a gentle giant.
