Bootsie, I was blessed to have almost 5 years with you. Your strength got me through everything, and I'm finding it so hard now to get through things without you. You were my support, my strength, my friend, my other half. I'm sorry you had epilepsy. And I'm sorry I couldn't make it better. Mostly, I'm sorry that our time was so short. But length of time never matters more than quality, and we sure made the most of it. Thank you for being in my life. And I can't wait to see you again. I love you

I remember when you would howl with me, and how your throat would tense up; You were never mean, you did rip our sofa, but we loved you more than ever. On the last day of the year, we had to conced defeat in your battle against cancer. Although we only knew you for the last seven years of your life, they were truly special. You were so friendly with everyone you met and had a wonderful temperement. Thanks for all the laughs as well, with your insatiable appetitite and ability to beat all our attempts to stop you eating

Bailey was a beautiful dog who was such an important part of our family for a very few years. Bailey pulled out of her collar while going to the groomer and was lost. She was hit by a train two days later and our hearts were broken. Your memory will always be with us, sweet girl. I will always see you in your place at the foot of my bed by the window. I wish you didn't have to leave so soon. I pray I will see you again on the other side and I hope that you are in a happy place waiting for me.

Yesterday, I had to let him go. I feel alone and empty. He followed me like a shadow for 13 years. I hadn't planned on the events of yesterday, but in my heart of hearts I knew I was doing the best for him. I'll miss his wagging tail, his smell, and the walks we took together everyday. But most of all I'll miss his companionship and unconditional love. He was my best friend and the best thing in my life. I don't think I'll be the same again. Goodbye mate please forgive me.
