I rescued a kitten who was picked up by animal control and had to be quarantined for 10 days. They let me take her if I would pay for quarantine at my own vet. Turns out she has 2 broken legs, broken pelvis and spinal damage. He recommended she be put to sleep. All I can think is that the reason I couldn't get her off my mind and was led to rescue her was b/c the vet said it would be inhumane to quarantine her for 10 days. It was so heartbreaking!!
