Sashka, our best friend. We are finding it really hard to cope with your departure. Our hearts and home feels so empty without you here. To my darling Norbert (Norby), the past 48 hours have been the worst I have ever had to experience. You weren't just a dog you were a Mitchell and my soul mate. Daisy's huge heart finally gave out in August, after a long illness. Just before she died, though she was suffering greatly and could barely move, she wagged her tail to greet a loved one. That was the kind of friend she was. She was so intelligent that if you lined up several toys and called out their individual names, she could pick out each one.She gave us 13 years of joy and love.
