He was about three when I took him from the RSPCA, and I said goodbye to him after almost 11 years. He had been diagnosed with FIV almost to the day a year before he died. The last couple of weeks were filled with so many problems, anaemia, congestive heart problems and finally pneumonia. I miss him greatly, and putting him to sleep was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m so sorry for what you had to endure Dirk, but I hope you had a happy life with me.
