Mahdi was a special dog. She loved to swim, sleep in the sun, and chase rabbits. She loved her humans and detained them at whichever doorway was the handiest for a good petting. She made friends with everyone, and always lit up my day. We came home to find her sick one day. We took her to the vet the next day and she was diagnosed with a rare case of Lyme’s Disease in which the kidneys shut down. She got treatment for it, but on August 22, 2007 we had to put her down. We’ll miss ya girl…always
