Our little dachshund Poppy was suddenly taken from us last night. She was the most gentle, loving dog and a great friend and companion to Alfie who will miss her very much I’m sure. My son and I have buried her body in the garden…he was so brave. She’s lying next to her former companion, Daisy so they’re together again. There’s not much that can be said to ease my pain except knowing she is now at peace and she died in my arms so wasn’t alone. RIP Poppy, you will always be loved xxx
