You were a squirrel with an injured back leg. I passed you on the street while you were hopping around, trying to get out of traffic. I drove up a couple of blocks, doubled back and intended to catch you and take you to Wildlife Rescue so they could mend your hurt leg. But I was too late as another car had already hit an killed you. I’m so sorry I didn’t get to you sooner. Know that someone loved you and tried to help you. Rest in Peace Rocket J. Squirrel.
