Rosie Barker was the best dog ever. She had her own column in the local newspaper, and she was the sweetest and gentlest dog. She was just eleven months old when we had to put her down due to fatal kidney disease (born with it, we had no way to know). She lived her life most fully and enjoyed many things most humans don’t get to as my sidekick at the newspaper. We’ll never forget her, but she lives forever in our hearts.
