On March 12, 2006 I lost my beloved red lynx point Siamese mix feline companion, Shoka Sho Lyn, to kidney failure and cancer. Dearest Shoka, I miss you more than I thought was possible! You stole my heart when I first saw you – when you left, you took it with you. Your very gentle and loving soul has passed quietly into the long night to rest and renew in the Summerland. Gentle friend; rest with your companions who have gone before and know that we will someday be together.
