I know what most people think when I tell them that I had a rat called Wilf - 'how could you be attached to a rat?' but he followed me everywhere, sat on my knee while I drew (I'm an illustrator) - we ate our porridge together every morning - the first thing I did when I woke was to fetch Wilf. I had my porridge alone today and I miss him so very, very much. He was incredibly gentle and devoted. For Wilfy, rethink your opinion of all the pet rats out there. They are bright, affectionate souls

Benji, we will never forget you and hope wherever you are you never forget us. After a tragic start in life and 3 yrs in a rescue centre we can only hope that the last years of your life made you as happy as you made us. No bark and wagging tail when we come home and your spot by the fire is empty. Wish you could have seen little Matthew grow up but when he's old enough we'll tell him all about you and visit your favourite walks. The sadness and tears will fade but the memories are ours forever.

To our little angel we miss you loads, each day that passes without you is getting harder. We miss your little smiles, your barks when you wonted food, our girly nights in, our big cuddles and our walks to the river. We miss your splashes in the water and the presents you used to bring us.
