We were together for so many years that we cannot imagine life without you. You will always be remembered by all of us and everytime we go to the beach we will be reminded of the happy days with you.

You were there to start the day with in the morning and there to greet me after a long hard day . You gave me friendship and asked for nothing in return except dinner and a warm place to sleep . You will never be forgotten.

We were only together for such a short time . Hardly time to get to know each other yet you seemed to understand me so well and although you didnt speak many words , that knowing look used to say it all to me.

After my husband died I was all alone and in my grief I did not want to have you at first but you worked yourself into my life and gave me a reason to carry on . You were my reason for getting up in the morning and the reason to start each new day. I will never forget what you did for me.

You were the last pet that I am able to have. You are irreplacable in my life . You gave life to my empty flat and made it feel like home.

Although I never will know what your final fate was ,I know that I will always be sorry that I could not prevent it from happening. You gave great pleasure to my children and they gained much from having you to care for. Your pictures will always remind them of happy times.

I will miss my first pet forever . No other fish will be like you.

We went everywhere together and we grew up together and I only wish that we could have grown old together . You lived a good life and I had a good childhood because of you. Now you are gone and I am left an adult but inside of me will always be the boy and his dog.

You set me on a path that led to fun and laughter for most of my childhood years . Those long summer days spent hacking through green pastures seemed to go on forever. Although I now have other horses I will never forget the first who introduced me to the joys of riding.

Since I found you on my doorstep and took you in , you repaid me a million fold with the companionship that you gave me . The memories that I have of you playing in morning and sleeping on my lap in the evening always make me smile.
