You were a squirrel with an injured back leg. I passed you on the street while you were hopping around, trying to get out of traffic. I drove up a couple of blocks, doubled back and intended to catch you and take you to Wildlife Rescue so they could mend your hurt leg. But I was too late as another car had already hit an killed you. I'm so sorry I didn't get to you sooner. Know that someone loved you and tried to help you. Rest in Peace Rocket J. Squirrel.

You were the light of my life. As your life deteriorated, despite my efforts, I had make the agonising decision to put you at peace. Altough Sweet Pea was not my cat, I knew him by the way his loving mom, Marleen, spoke of him. You see Sweet Pea wasn't a cat, in his heart he was a little person. The most recent story I was told was when Sweet Pea decided he needed to be part of a conversation and sat in between two young men on a couch and, listening attentively, looked back and forth to each person who was talking. So heres to you Sweet Pea thank you for 14 years of your love and devotion to my friend. Your in our hearts.

Sid ~When mum brought you home I was only 4, but you were my best friend. In the first week you curled up in my lap and fell asleep. Over the years we both grew up and became more independent. But at the end of the day you always came back to me - following me round the garden and sleeping in my lap like you did as a baby.In January you got cancer and by August you were blind. My comfort is that you didn't die alone, and now you're in heaven without cancer and with perfect vision! Love always!
